1. Accessibility
One of the standout features of Club Pilates is it's accessibility. With over 1,200 locations globally, Club Pilates have established studios in many communities. Club Pilates also provides competitive membership pricing and a wide range of class types--with an emphasis on Pilates being everybody.
2. Variety of Classes to Suit Everyone
Club Pilates sets itself apart by offering a wide array of classes tailored to different needs and fitness levels. From foundational classes for newbies to more advanced sessions that challenge seasoned enthusiasts, there’s something for everyone. This variety keeps your workouts fresh and engaging, which is key to maintaining motivation. With most studios offering classes all day, there is also a wide range of days and times to choose from to meet the needs of busy schedules--something that many boutique studios are not able to offer.
3. A Familiar Format
While instructors are provided a certain level of freedom to develop their own class programming to keep classes fresh, Club Pilates does have a structure to their classes that allows for adult learners to safely move through class, track progress, and feel a sense of familiarity from classes to class an studio to studio.
4. State-of-the-Art Equipment
Club Pilates offers a wide range of professional grade equipment within group class formats. Each station is equipped with Balanced Body reformers, springboards, and chairs, as well as props including Magic Rings, Pilates balls, Bosu balance trainers, foam rollers, trigger point balls and TRX, to name a handful. Many competitors can only offer access to all of these apparatus in private training sessions.
5. Variety of Instructors
Club Pilates hires a mix of fully certified instructors and apprentice instructors who are able to bring a variety of teaching styles to the studio. Club Pilates is considered a Contemporary studio, however, some studios have Classically trained instructors on staff who teach in a more Classical format. Contemporary teachers have leverage to create fun and exciting flows within the Club Pilates guidelines with emphasis on the core principles of Pilates. With a variety of instructors, there is a wider chance of finding one that you vibe with--and having a variety throughout the week helps keep classes exciting and provides you an opportunity to learn from many different instructors, with different specializations and skillsets.
